About CRHSP

The formation of CRHSP was initially proposed as a three-year plan to establish a national working model to

(1) conduct operations research on best practice for infusing informatics into medical settings,

(2) research on needs of an underserved population which has been identified as the aging less-affluent and on the utilization of healthcare information technology to improve health care delivery,

(3) change nursing curriculum to incorporate technology which can reduce staff turnover in an era of severe shortages, and

(4) link research to the emerging health information technology industry to improve products and services.
